IDENTIFY A SCAM
Did you notice or are you a possible victim of fraud, a suspicious social media account, website, app, or similar that uses any of our brand logotypes, photos, or other intellectual property?
Here are some suggestions to help you identify a scam:
- If you are contacted via email, please confirm that the sender has an official Miyo email address. If you are unsure, please contact us so we can confirm whether the sender is legitimate.
- Is the social media account you suspect confirmed or unverified? Verified accounts and pages are marked with a checkmark to indicate their authenticity.
- Except for your online purchase on Miyo.com, we will never charge you anything to participate in any competition, raffle, program, or similar.
- Have you noticed any behaviour that you feel is a scam? Please report it to us. When reporting a suspected fraud, please include the URL of the website; if you are approached by email, please include the original email as an attachment.
- If you feel you have been a victim of a scam, we highly advise you to report it to your local authorities.
